Aata is an Interactive storytelling game with spatial alignment puzzles where player is supposed to claim different objects and connect them to fill the gaps of the overall narrative.
The theme of the game is focused on Indian performing art and cultural practices. There has been an extensive research done on Yakshagana, a open play performing art native to the coastal regions of Karnataka.
Levels of this game is designed in manner that the game world itself can communicate directly with the player to create a sense and the overall mood and tone of that helps players to immerse into the story.
The development of the project is still in progress. Since it's an experimental game there has been multiple iterations done to create out of the box game mechanics that leads to unique interactions for the player. I worked on various shaders that changes property in real time gameplay to create visual illusion to player's eye.
